Karmatek is the annual Tech Fest of GCECT. It is organised around the time of the onset of every even semester, however, prior to the main event, many workshops are conducted where hundreds of students participate to learn. Several groups of students from other colleges across West Bengal participate in search for the rich and selective knowledge provided in our workspace. In the main event, the inter-college competitons take place across the GCECT campus. Students from GCECT as well as various other colleges await each year to show their talents in this platform consisting of thousands of students.
Karmatek is all about knowledge diffusion, with added thrills. For example, there is always a possibility that a participant in Karmatek can think about his/her opponent,'How did he even do that?'
