The objective of this competition is to make a robot that can follow a Track indicated by black lines on a white background.
1. Each team can have a maximum of 4 members.
2. Students from different educational institutions can form a team (OPEN to ALL).
3. There is no restriction to the number of teams participating from the same institute.
4.
No person can be in two teams for the same event.
5. All teams must be present before the commencement of the event. Teams will be disqualified if they do not turn up during the slot allotted to them.
6. There
will be just one round. Points shall be gained for efficient traversal and overall least time taken to traverse the whole track.
7. Serious damage to the path will lead to immediate disqualification.
8. Winner
will be decided on descending order of points gained.
9. Line Followers must be self-contained, except for power supply which may be drawn by a wire. (Power Source will be provided if required).
10. The Line
Follower shall have a specified maximum number of attempts (to be decided by the Organizer on the day of the race, typically less than 3) to test run the track.
11. If a Line Follower leaves the line, and has
not crossed the finishing line, points will be deducted as per specifications given on the track.
12. The decisions of the coordinators are final and binding.
1. A Line Follower shall not exceed 25 cm in overall length, 25 cm in overall width and 20cm in overall height
2. Line Followers must be self-contained, except for power supply which may be drawn by a wire.(Power
Source will be provided if required).
3. Except for the battery pack, the handler shall not make any addition, removal, replacement or change to the hardware of a Line Follower during a contest. It is however
permissible to make minor repairs.
4. AC (mains) supply too will be provided
5. Each team should carry their own DC power adaptor.
6. No systems will be provided for coding purpose.

The bot has to play carrom in the specified arena. Dragging or flicking mechanism used to direct the carrom pieces to the holes.
1. Maximum members per team are 2.
2. Wire pulling by any member of the participating team is not allowed.
3. Hand touch will lead to penalties.
4. Grabbing the carrom is strictly prohibited.
5. Degree of
freedom of the arm should be 2.
6. Point system and additional rules will be disclosed on the day of the event.
7. Intentional attack on your opponent’s bot will lead to penalty.
8. Damage to the arena
will lead to disqualification.
9. The teams are expected to be on the time and each team is supposed to be ready with their bots near the arena, failing which the team will be disqualified.
1. The dimension of the bot must not exceed 25cm x 25cm x 25cm (length x breadth x height). A 10% allowance will be given to the participants.
2. The weight of the bot must not exceed 5 kg. A 10% allowance will be
given to the participants.
3. The external wired control used to control the machine manually is not included in this size constraint.
4. If the machine uses an externally placed power supply, the dimensions
of the power supply are not included in the size constraint. However, in case of an on-board power supply, the machine along with the power supply should follow the rule mentioned in clause 1 and clause 2.

The judges hold the right to subjectively determine if the machine violates any clause.
1. The machine can use an externally placed or on-board electric or non-electric power supply.
2. In case of an electric power supply, the voltage at any point on the machine must be lower than or equal to
24V at any point of time during the game.
3. The organizer will provide 230V, 50 Hz AC power supply. Any extension cords, adaptors or battery box etc. required will have to be arranged by participants
themselves.
4. The machine must be controlled by some wired control mechanism at all stages of the game.
5. In case of wired mechanism, the wire must be slack for the duration of the game. The participants
have the right to ensure that the wire does not get entangled with their machine during the game.

of score.
10. LEGO kits or its spare parts or pre-made mechanical parts are not allowed.

1. The game will be of maximum 6 minutes (3 mins for each half).
2. The match will be a 1 vs 1 one.
3. A maximum of 10 secs will be allowed to hold the ball by a bot.
4. The ball will be placed in the centre
with the two bots on either side of it.
5. After a goal is scored, the ball will be again placed in the centre.
6. The match will commence on the start of whistle.
7. In case of any mechanical or electrical
fault a maximum of 10 mins will be allowed, the timer will be paused.
8. In case of corner kicks, the bot is allowed to shoot from the sideline at an angle of 45 degrees. The opponent will be removed from the
field for 20 secs.
9. In case of fouls the bot causing the foul will be taken from the field for 20 secs, the opponent is allowed to shot the ball from the point of foul using a shooting mechanism.
10. The
foul is reported by the coordinators and their decision is final.
11. In case of a tie there will be a penalty shootout and each team will be given 3 chances.
12. The teams are allowed to make a maximum of
2 resets.
13. The team scoring the maximum will be crowned the winner
